A Creed for Pals

1. I will stand up for my pal, whether he’s right or wrong.

2. I will privately tell me friend when he is wrong.

3. I will let no woman come between us, but will be a gentleman with all.

4. I will be honest in all things, though never judgmental.

5. I will pick my pal up when he’s down.

6. I will watch my pal’s back.

7. I will not gossip about my pal’s shortfalls.

8. I will be loyal.

9. I will keep the friendship alive with common interests.

10. I will be mirthful, portentous, and only occasionally doleful.
